❖ David Starfire’s “KARUNA” album release party with Imagika Om, Electric Dandelion, & Rhythmstar | Luminous Movement 3.02 ❖

༺♥༻ We are luminous beings having a human experience… On this night we will celebrate David Starfire as he releases his new album “Karuna” that features musical collaborations by Govinda, Alex Grey, Haana, Jamie Janover, Oriel Poole, William Close, Joaqopelli and a host of Burmese refugee musicians. Album artwok on this project is by Android Jones.

Karuna is the anticipated kickerstarter funded album that enabled David to collaborate with Burmese refugee musicians in Northern Thailand along the border zones of Burma. From glitched out violins, delayed xylophone, gamelan, home made harps, buffalo horns and Burmese vocals, this album shows the versatility of Burmese instruments layered with giant bass lines and seductive synths. This is the first time an electronic artist has collaborated with Burmese musicians on an entire album. All profits go to a non profit that gives free education to Burmese refugee children called Thai Freedom House. ༺♥༻
