Gods Robots is the unique exciting Inter-Galatic ‘Mumbai-San Francisco’ collaboration born via the net. Their self-titled debut album released in June 2013 on Sony Music India. Gods Robots’ sound was built over a period of three years. They are a truly global band seamlessly balancing the traditional sounds of India with the future sounds of electronic music. Their record features virtuoso Sarod player Alam Khan in a rare non-classical Indian music context, maestro Suhail Yusuf Khan on Sarangi and Mike Pipes on flute and guitar. On stage Gods Robots is a powerhouse. Their performances are a fresh blend of cross-cultural dance music with a high energy live music edge. Elements of drumstep, dubstep, hip hop, dub and even drum n bass shine as singer ShriiK’s effortlessly moves from soulful and bluesy English lyrics to classical Indian vocal melodies. Adding to the cutting edge sound, Janaka Selekta dubs all parts of the performance using his state of the art electronics rig, creating sets that are both dynamic and infectious. They recently rocked these at prestigious festivals and clubs; Jaipur Literature Festival, M.A.D Festival (Ooty), Blue Frog (Bombay & Delhi), Hennessy Artistry show (Chennai) and Urbanfolk (Taj Vivanta).

~ B.R.E.E.D

After the first track released by B.R.E.E.D landed directly in the Top Ten Beatport Dubstep Charts in 2010, the road was thereby soundly paved for this matured identity. B.R.E.E.D’s colorfully-raw avenues became the foundations for his evolving music production, and this time, B.R.E.E.D’s remix of FreQ Nasty’s Bon Merde has hit No. 9 on the Beatport Glitch Hop Charts in April 2012! Alongside remixes from Liquid Stranger, FS, FreQ Nasty and Knight Riderz, B.R.E.E.D has gained massive support from personalities like Calvertron, Reid Speed, Modestep, Starkey and many more. Previously, under his initial producer and DJ name, DJ Nasha, this self-manufactured artist claimed the World DMC Championship (India) in 1999 and 2000, of which he appeared for the finals of in New York and London. He then capitalized on this energetic snowball of creation and consequently changed the musical horizon in his homeland of India. B.R.E.E.D was labeled on MistaJam’s BBC Radio One Program as the “dubstep ambassador of India” in 2011. B.R.E.E.D has evolved his musical disposition from an exclusively self-trained DJ and producer from Bombay India, to an artist who has now played alongside internationally-recognized personalities like Cold Cut, Freq Nasty, Caspa, and Howie B. Without the support and infrastructure of professional musical institutes to aid his progress, this DJ and producer has sculpted a powerful magnetism among the world of experimental aficionados with his own determined hands.

~ LOBOMAN aka Eduardo Manilla

Eduardo Manilla, a.k.a. LoboMan, is a multi-disciplinary artist from Baja California, Mexico.A native of Ensenada, Eduardo studied design and architecture in his country. Now, a licensed architect, his work has taken him from prestigious firms in Mallorca Spain to Santa Monica, Venice and even earned him an honorary award given by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa for his collaboration with the LAbtop Architectural Firm. He’s currently a Community Officer of the Venice Neighborhood Council and he also Co-Chairs the Arts Committee where he works towards keeping the spirit of Venice alive. Despite the accolades, the artist in Eduardo needed to continue cultivating his creative side. He wanted a larger and more diverse audience. He wanted to reach as many people as possible through his art. Thus, the inspiration was born to start DJing. He started to receive mentoring by his brother Alejandro (a.k.a. MASSIO) a renowned DJ and music producer in Mexico. As a D.J. Eduardo calls himself LoboMan, which is a play on words of his 2 last names: Manilla Villalobos. LoboMan uses his background on Architecture to “build” Daytime Disco sets which flow dynamically and translate into high vibes and a sweaty dance floor. A little bit of salsa, a little bit of disco and a little bit of funk will keep you dancing all night with a really big smile!.
